He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Coleman and Elsa Coleman (Meyer); and his wife Jean Coleman. He is survived by: his children, Curt Coleman (Sue), Clark Coleman (Sara), Corene Purintun (Jim) and Connie Stordalen (Erik); his grandchildren, Justin Purintun (Nicole), Tanner Purintun (Rikki), Jonathon Purintun (Cassidy), Chloe Carlson (Andrew), Cooper Coleman (Karlee), Clint Coleman (McKenzie), Konnor, Samantha and MeKayla Stordalen; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Collins, Alyvia Purintun, Jovi, Remi, Ledger Purintun, Jalen Purintun and Elle Carlson; and his brother Marlen Coleman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral Service (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58503). A prayer was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (413 E D Ave, Bismarck, ND 58501).
