He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kiefer and Eugenia Kiefer (Fischer); his wife Florence Kiefer (Weigel); and his brother Charlie Kiefer. He is survived by: his children, Richard Kiefer (Pam), Savage, Minn, Randy Kiefer (Linda), Roger Kiefer (Denise), Russell Kiefer (Kay) and Tammy Parrett (Tricia Kiefer) of Fargo, N. D.; and his siblings, Aloys Kiefer (Maggie), Robert Kiefer (Pearl), Luvina Reis (Ernie) and Carol Mastel (late Leo). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of The Red River Valley.
