With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane Retterath (Bismarck, North Dakota), born in Hazen, North Dakota, who passed away on January 17, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Retterath and Dorothy Retterath (Lange); his sister Donna Eisenmann; and his brothers-in-law, Layton Eisenmann, William Kent and Neal Pearson.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Rudolph of Bismarck; his siblings, Bill Retterath (Carol) of Center, Rita Kent of Bimarck, Kathy Birst (Curtis) of Bimarck and Jane Pearson of Hazen; his stepsons, David Rudolph (Kari) of Bismarck and Scott Rudolph (Jackie) of Stanley, ND; his grandchildren, Tyler Rudolph, Matt Rudolph, Sara Rudolph, Colton Rudolph, Cody Rudolph and Cayne Rudolph; his friends, Rod Koenig (Deb) of Hazen, ND and Melody Bielen (Scott) of Great Falls, MT; Derek Koenig, Cody Koenig and Sara Bielen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim moved to Missouri Slope in 2017, due to his battle with Parkinson's disease.
