With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin Mittelstedt (Bismarck, North Dakota), who passed away on March 4, 2018 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann and Louisa; his wife Verona; and his siblings, Ella Graham, Pauline Helm, Lenora Wolff, Bernice Gabel, Ted of Toby and William.
He is survived by: his wife Dalphina; his sister Bertha Hale of Seattle, WA; his sister-in-law Hilda Mittelstedt; and his friend Ron Geiss. He is also survived by ten step-children and their families, Rita (Rick) Ciavarella, Francis (LaVonne) Jangula, Celestina (Gary) Finck, Elizabeth (Douglas) Jahner, Tony (LeeAnn) Jangula, Ken (Charlan) Jangula, Lucy (Dwight) Driscoll, and Joseph (Marie) Jangula, all of Bismarck, Gerald Jangula (Paulette), Rapid City, SD, and Mary (Dwight) Schlepp, Ashley, ND; 29 step-grandchildren and 37 step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Edwin's name to Faith Lutheran Church in Bismarck.
