She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lydia Wahl and William Wahl; her former husbands, Peter Kovarik and Philip Solle; her husband Phil; her children, Linda Lou and Peter James "Butch"; her brother Leo Wahl (Shirley); and her daughters, Judy Grothe (Marty), Donna Baber, Pamela Walter (Tom), Joyce Rostad (Curt) and Deaette Powell (Jeff). She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, and 6 step grandchildren.
During Covid her activities were very restricted causing her health to begin to wane.
