She was predeceased by: her parents, Karlis Velde and Marija Gratulevic Velde. She is survived by: her pet Westie Bailey; her husband Edgar Spelmanis; her children, Egon Spelmanis (Mary) of Denver, Colorado and Elaine Cofell (Wayne Axtman) of Bismarck; her grandchildren, Aaron and Adrian Cofell; and her great grandchild Ayden Cofell.
