He is survived by: his wife Esther; his children, Elliott Gerhardt (Bonnie) of Bismarck, ND, Eldora Wangen (David) of Anamoose, ND and Ellen Passmore (Joe) of Lakewood, CO; his grandchildren, Jaden Gerhardt, Rachel Kriege (Todd), Sarah Sommer (Tony), Kyle Wangen (Alissa) and Nicole Beagle (Steven); his great grandchildren, Carson, Zac, Lexi, Trevor, Carter, Emily and Nash; and his siblings, Edwin Gerhardt (Pat) of Grand Forks, ND, Darlene Haider (Dennis) of Bismarck, ND and Dolores Messer (Albert) of Anaconda, MT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
