She was predeceased by: her father Gustave Unrath; her brother Gene Unrath; her father-in-law Herbert Engel; and her brother-in-law Dale "Turby" Engel. She is survived by: her husband LeRoy Engel of Bismarck; her mother Irene Unrath of Bismarck; her children, Troy Engel (Ann) of Hutchinson, MN, Todd Engel (Molly), Scott Engel (Robin), Mandan Gillispie and Holly Gillispie (Todd); her grandchildren, Alyssa, Dylan, Macy, Maddy, Bryce, Logan and Parker; her brother Eldon Unrath (Carla); her mother-in-law Ruth Engel of Bismarck; and her siblings-in-law, Ruby Unrath, Norleen Helm (Delaino), Colleen Engel and Dennis Engel (Paulette). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
