It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Gerving of Bismarck, North Dakota, born in Glen Ullin, North Dakota, who passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Schaaf and Monica Schaaf (Hertz); her husband Bennie Gerving; her sons, David and Donald; and her grandchildren, Pam and Zachery.
She is survived by: her children, Loreli Dykema (Ron), LaVerne Ripplinger (Jerry), DuWayne Gerving (Beverly), Lola Tomek (Tom), Lucy Friesz (Roger), Louise Wetzel (Clark), Lanette Hellman (David) and LeeAnn Thiel (Jim). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
