She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Weigel and Philomena Weigel (Senger); and her sister Alvina Jung. She is survived by: her husband Daniel; her children, Richard Kiefer (Pam) of Savage, MN, Randy Kiefer (Linda) of Dickinson, ND, Roger Kiefer (Denise) of Waverly, MN, Russell Kiefer (Kay) of Fargo, ND, Tammy Parrett (Kelly) of Fargo, ND and Tricia Kiefer; and her siblings, Frank Weigel (Francie), Clarence Weigel (Dianne), Gerald Weigel (Peggy), Phyllis Schmidt (John), Sally Jacob (Mike), Eilene Sabot (Don), Harriet Peterson (Lee) and Geraldine Friesz (Bill). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital or St. Alexius Hospice.
