He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Aichele and Tillie Aichele (Auch); his daughter Tari LaLonde; his grandson Rusty; his siblings, Glen, Roy and LuElla; and his parents-in-law, Albert and Nellie Geist.
He is survived by: his friend Mike Lewis; his wife Beverly; his sons, Larry Aichele and Scott Aichele (Mary Senger); his grandchildren, John, James LaLonde (Leah Chin-Katz), Michelle Hintz (Kadon), Kris Schantz (Ryan), Austin, Calvin and Zachary Aichele; his great grandchildren, Parker, Owen, Hannah Hintz and Kensie Schantz; his siblings, Ike, Lee Allen and Shirley Hankle (Ron); his siblings-in-law, Richard Geist (Ginny), Roger Geist (Liz), Benny Rath, Jo Ellen and Jean Aichele; his cousins, Marion Eastgate and Gordy Whitman; and his close friend Arnola Aichele. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
