He is survived by: his wife Irene Lottes; his children, Kathy Nickel (Del), Julie Schmidt (Steve) and Charles "Chuck" Kaelberer (Caroline); his sisters, Evelyn Dietz, Estrella Treude and Lori Goebel; and his grandchildren, Michelle Teerlinck (Scott), Chris Nickel (Heidi), Trisha Burke (Steve), Rachelle Erickson (Clay) and Jesse Kaelberer (Kori). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
