He was predeceased by: his parents, August Gappert and Alma Gappert (Kramer); his wife Hilda Opp; and his siblings, LaVerne Weber and Arden Gappert.
He is survived by: his daughter Stacy Fischer (Randy); his grandchildren, Brittany and Parker (Karlee); his great grandchildren, Jaxon and Eastyn; his siblings, Roger Gappert (Eleanore) and Jean Schulz; and his sister-in-law Eleanore Gappert.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in Gary's name.
