He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Capri Elizabeth Volk; his brother Albert P. Volk; his parents-in-law, Nora "Noni" Haman and Adam P. Andrew Haman; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Berg, Kurt Abel, Leonard "Lenny" Haman, Daniel Haman, Donald "Donnie" Haman and Jean Volk (Neagle).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Tim Volk and Eric Volk (Sarah) of Bismarck, ND; his grandchildren, Ava Volk, Adrianna, Lilianna Volk, Sevin, Ronin and Parks Volk; and his siblings, Pius Volk (Amy) of Surrey, ND, Richard C. Volk (Laura), Adeline "Addie" Berg, Lake Metigoshe, Raymond A. Volk (Monica), Robert M. Volk, Beverly Abel-Spinck (John) of Phoenix, AZ, Douglas L. Volk (Glori Ann) and Debra Thorson (Jay) of Surrey, ND.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
