He was predeceased by: his brother Wayne Hinsz. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Kristin Knutson (Wyatt) of Wellington, CO and Ross Hinsz (Doreen) of Brainerd, MN; his grandchildren, Madison Knutson, Benjamin, Andrew, Maureen and Evelyn Hinsz; his siblings, Dean Hinsz (Whitey) of Bismarck and Lori Lauf (Todd) of Eden Prairie, MN.; his brothers-in-law, Nancy Krebsbach (Doug), Barb Vetter (Tom Skaro), Mary Marquart (Steve) and West Fargo; Toni Hinsz of Bismarck. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be sent to the ND Veteran's Cemetery, Faith Lutheran Church, or the donor's choice.
