He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Halstead (Sperry) and Harry Halstead; his siblings, Gladys Larson (Francis) and Richard Halstead (Bertha); and his grandson Eric Halstead.
He is survived by: his former spouse Demaris Peterson; his wife Marie Pilles; his children, Harry Halstead (Kathy) and Linda Birmingham (Christopher); his grandchildren, Malissa Thorson Rix, Wenatchee, Danna Joyner, Austin Langford, Paige Sawardeker (Prasad) and Grant Birmingham; his great grandchildren, Braden Joyner, Rohan Sawardeker and Zaya Langford; and his sister Marjorie Farstveet (Alvin). He is also survived by nieces, great- nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
