He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary; his children, Colleen Gardner (Ron) of Olathe, KS, Mark Horning, Bismarck, James Horning and Grafton; his grandchildren, Marie Swanson (Thomas) of Overland Park, KS and Carolyn Gardner; and his siblings, Elmer Horning, Bismarck, Angie Olson, Margaret Kuntz (Lawrence) and Don Horning (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
