She was predeceased by: her parents, John Merkel and Erna Merkel; her brothers, Lee and Arnold Merkel; her brothers-in-law, Walter Eckholm and Wesley Johnson; her pet Molly; Darlene and Beverly.
She is survived by: her spouse Lynn Trusty of Wing, ND.; her grandson Craig; her children, Jerry (Dianne), Larry (Patricia), Allan (Iris) and Karen Mittleider (Mike) of Steele, ND; her sisters, Marlene Eckholm, Arvada Johnson and Geraldine Germundson (Warren); Jeanette, Raymond and Ronald. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren.
