He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Max Thiele and Opal Thiele; his children, David Thiele (Kelly), Dan Thiele (Corrine) and Sue Borud (Troy); his grandchildren, Sara Gulbrandson (Levi), James Thiele (Katie), Paige Thompson (Blaine), Kaitlin Goldade (Jacob), Mason Borud, Kyle Teller (Eric), Conor Borud (Morgan) and Payton Borud (Jordan Piatz); his great grandchildren, Skylar, Wyatt, Holt, Olivia, Oliver and Ryan; his wife Carolyn Thiele; his great grandchild Elijah Thiele; his sister Janet Ackley; and his pet Kittys.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, a private funeral service will be held at 10:30 a. m. Friday, July 31, at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck.
