He is survived by: his son Mitch Bitz (Patty); his grandsons, Levi and Hunter Bitz; his daughters, Julie Tormaschy (Jim) and Bismarck; his grandchildren, Cody, Kayla and Gracie Tormaschy; his siblings, Alfred Bitz and Alvina Kluth; and his siblings-in-law, Leland, Suzanne Wanner and Larry Halverson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
