He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Connie Heard (Richard) of Bismarck, Renee Barnaby (Terry) of Bismarck, Ronald Zook (Cathy), Richard Zook (Dawn), Fargo Zook and Garold Zook (Nancy); his brother Bernard Zook (Eleanor); and his grandchildren, Timothy Heard, Jacqueline Heard, Jason Zook, Trina Montplasir, Jennifer Cohen, Christine Brazell, Bradley Zook, Bobbie Owens, K'Cee Barnaby and K'Lee Barnaby. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
