It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Hager of Bismarck, North Dakota, born in Strasburg, North Dakota, who passed away on November 11, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hager and Margaret Hager (Baumgartner); and his siblings, Katherine Welk, Julia Feist, Mary Zacher, Barbara Silbernagel, Alice Heidrich, Pius Hager, Andy Hager and Eddie Hager.
He is survived by: his wife Katie; his children, Brenda Janssen (Curt), Linda Kleinjan (Randy), Joe Hager and Lori Caya (Grant); his grandchildren, Bill Wrigley (Lyndsey), Katie Wiedrich (Nick), Brent Kleinjan (Kaara), Bryan Kleinjan, Jordan Kleinjan (Karly) and Lee Mittelstadt (Katie); and his sisters, Helen Bachmeier, Irene Heidrich and Carol Herner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, 1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554 or to the charity of donor's choice.
