He was predeceased by: his father LeRoy Traxel; his son Christopher Traxel; his siblings, LeAnn Traxel and Gene Traxel; his sister-in-law Beverlee DeWaard (Traxel); his grandparents, Walter, Pauline Zeiszler, Robert and Erna Traxel; his brother-in-law Lynn Mayer; and his parents-in-law, Donald and Gloria Mayer.
He is survived by: his mother Norma Traxel (Zeiszler); his wife Peggy; his children, Andrew Traxel, Dustin Traxel (Kelsey) and Elisha Peltz (Greg); his grandchildren, Jacquelynn Traxel and Eden Peltz; and his sister Beverly Gegelman (Monte). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
