She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Lien and Clara Lien (Johnson); her former husband Myron Gertz (Don); her husband Harold "Parky" Parkin; her siblings, Melford and LaVonne; and her son-in-law Darwin Kungel.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Kungel (Gertz) and David Gertz (Louayne); her grandchildren, Patrick, Michael LaVielle, Wash, James Gertz, Moorhead, Minn and Marissa Rath; her great grandchildren, Ryan LaVielle, Alaric Rath, Kelly and Chloe LaVielle; and her stepson Scott Parkin (Rebecca). She is also survived by kids; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to American Lutheran Church, 1101 10th St. SE, Mandan, ND, 58554, or a charity of the donor's choice.
