He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Falkenstein and Alta Falkenstein; his wife Phyllis Johnson; his sons, Alan and Kevin; and his sister Marjorie Magnuson.
He is survived by: his children, Joan Bauer (Chuck) and Kurt Falkenstein (Adair); his daughters-in-law, Shirley Kuehne of Farmington, MN and Jacklyn Falkenstein of Falcon Heights, MN; and his brother Clifton of Longmont, CO.. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces, foster children.
