It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis J Hanson of Bismarck, North Dakota, born in Jud, North Dakota, who passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete L. Hanson and Mary Hanson (Dalager); and his brothers, Floyd, Donald, Art and Duane Hanson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathlene Wilmart; his daughter Diana L. Herner (Glenn); his grandchildren, Alissa Bagan, Mike Bagan (Alma), Joe-Louis Bagan, Stephanie Mauro (Jeff), Jason Austad, Jamie Austad and Kristen Scanlon; his sons, William-Louis and Robert E.; and his sisters, Gladys Doris and Mary Lou Carlson. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Louis lived at Touchmark and started "pinochle night" every Thursday and whist every Wednesday prior to moving to The Baptist Home in March of 2020 at the advent of the Corona Virus Pandemic.
