He is survived by: his spouses, Pamela Nygaard and Pam of Bismarck; his son Jason Schwede (Amanda); his granddaughters, Elexis and Hanna; his sister Marvel Kalappa (David); and his son-in-law Joseph Wilson of Bismarck. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
