She was predeceased by: her parents, John Magstadt and Rosalia Magstadt (Wiege); her brother Victor Magstadt; her siblings-in-law, Alta Magstadt and Philip Gupman; and her nephew John Gupman.
She is survived by: her husband Duane E. Rub; her children, Jeffrey Rub (Jana), Gaylene Kudrna (Perry), Charlotte Friedt (Joel) and Dayna Bitz (Ryan); her sister Luella Gupman; and her siblings-in-law, J. R. Rub (Kathy) and Geri Heyne. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
