He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Howes and Reva Howes (Johnson); and his sister Raeann Bisson. He is survived by: his former wife Tricia Nelson; his wife Joan; his children, Chris Scott (Billie Jo) of Mandan, ND, Chelsey Riepl (Peter) of Bismarck, ND, Mike Jr. Howes (Sadie) of Washburn, ND, Toria Cain (Taylor) of Mandan, ND and Tiara Howes (Scott) of Bismarck, ND.; his grandchildren, Jayden, Kaylee, Keaton, Kyla, Koley, Sawyer and Maylee; his siblings, Vikki Howie (Bill) of Chariton, IA, Ruth Craven of Bailey, CO, Peggy Lundin of Nashville, TN, Tammy Mulz (Darrell) of Rapid City, SD and Jim Howes (Holly) of Rapid City, SD; and his brother-in-law Louie Jungling of Valley City, ND.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
