He was predeceased by: his parents, John Krous and Rose Krous (Lantz); his wife Elizabeth Jantzer of Hebron; and his siblings, Sebastian, Clarence, John Jr., George, Katherine "Katie" Berger and Barbara Rohr.
He is survived by: his son Michael (Sandra); his grandchild Vernetta; his child Vernetta Erickson (Kyle); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Michelle Kuntz (Michael), Justin and Wash; his great grandchildren, Michaela Kuntz, Miranda Kuntz and Montgomery Kuntz; and his siblings, Violet Kukus, Glendive, Mont, Pauline Berger, Mary Leingang and Daniel (Gladys). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
