He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Zahn; his wife Evonne Lutz of New England; his grandson Collin Christman; his father Henry Sr. Zahn; his siblings, Henry Zahn, Jr., Edgar Zahn, Myrtle Anderson, Margaret Paulsrud and Mildred Makelki; his siblings-in-law, Lorraine Frietag and Harold Lutz; and his friend David Poppe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joan Helma (Dean), Lynda Doe (Tom) and Peggy Christman; his grandchildren, Sam Helma, Jillian Soreide (Jake), Jason Doe (Sacha), Janelle Groll (Tom), Holly Doe, Lacey Kostelecky (Tyler), Brooke Sanford (Josh Wenner) and Cory Christman (Jennifer Schaefer); his great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Kal Soreide, Dax, Aria Doe, Kylan, Landon Groll, Jaida, Gage Doe, Kendyl, Shaylee Kostelecky, Kylie and Bennett Sanford; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Lutz (Darlene), Bob Lutz (Trixie), Mavis Zahn and Margene Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
