It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Newlyn Little Swallow in Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Francine Azure; his brother Dakota Olin Heart; his adoptive father William Bad Bear; his aunts and uncles, David Little Swallow Jr., Bentley Heart, Robert, Edmund Heart, Bonnie Heart, Sawahu Heart, Edna Sue and Reba Jean Heart; and his grandparents, Ben, Ramona Heart, David and Margaret Little Swallow.
He is survived by: his parent Lorry R. Little Swallow; his daughters, Amanda and Rosie Little Swallow; his stepdaughter Elyssa; his wife Barbara Little Bird; his daughters, Kateri and Mariann; his stepchildren, Eddy, Drey, Mitchell and Ashlee; his children, Ellysa Azure of New Town and Kara Little Swallow of Colstrip, Montana; his father Nelson L. Heart (Diane) of New Town; his brothers, Nelson W. Heart (Marietta) of New Town and Justin Heart of Bismarck; his grandmother Georgianne Bad Bear; and his brothers, Loren Walking Hawk, John Old Elk, David Old Elk, Devereaux Old Elk, Lloyd Passes and Taylor Thunder Iron. He is also survived by his children, his brothers, sisters.
