She was predeceased by: her parents, John Simon and Gladys Simon (Kunkel); her husband Dr. Norman M Nelson; her daughter Dr. Jill K Nelson; and her sisters, Dorothy Stice, Marjorie "Billy" Hartman, Darlyne King and Jacqueline Gray.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey N Nelson (Lisa Hay) of Bismarck; and her sister Joan Pampeyan of Los Altos, CA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
