He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendelin Fischer and Ottilia Fischer; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Fischer and Matt Mathern. He is survived by: his children, Scott Fischer (Jie Wu), Marcy Stevenson (Dave) and David Fischer (Mary); his grandchildren, Hayleigh, Alex and Embry; his siblings, Clarence Fischer, Rose Mathern of Aberdeen, S. D. and Tom Fischer; and his former wife Berna Buchholz.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the Parkinson's Association.
