He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Sr. Pfliger and Florentina Pfliger; and his siblings, Barbeda Pfliger, Frances Walter, Agnes Emineth, Marion Thompson, Monica Lang, Idenia Pfliger, Frank, Adam, Tony, Nick and Bernard.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Schuh; his children, Jennelle Brown (Michael) of Orem, Utah, Joleen Snyder (Ray) and Dean Pfliger of Everett, Washington; his stepchildren, Cindy Kluck and Bruce Kluck (Julie) of Bismarck, ND; and his sisters, Clementine Friesz, Barbara Oestreich of New Salem, ND and Gertrude Welk of Billings, MT. He is also survived by grandchildren (6), great-grandchildren (5), step-grandchildren (14) and step great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Ray's name to the ND Veterans Cemetery or the Scottish Rite Speech Therapy Center for Children, P.O. Box 2094, Bismarck, ND, 58502.
