He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, L. R. Friesz and Frances Friesz (Schmidt); his wife Rose Ternes (Dressler); and his children, Shirley Dinesen (Bill), Bobbie Gomes (Jim), Peggy Roehrich (Gary) and Terry Friesz (Laure). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
