He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Bryant and Leah Bryant; his sisters, Helen Grewing and Bev Suther; his daughter Penny Banks; and his grandchild Chrissy Lang.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; and his children, Peg Geloff (Mike), Gay Johns (Brad), Jenny Stetson (Don), Gary (Agnes), Phil (Bobbie) and Jim (Steph). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
