He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam and Frieda. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne; his son David; his grandchildren, Devin (Alisha) and Darby; his brothers, Russell (Cynthia), Ralph (Carolyn) and Robert (Debra); and his siblings-in-law, Mike (Joyce) and Joan (Tom). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Joe's name to Dakota Adventist Academy.
