He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Gahner and Johanna Gahner (Diebert); his wife Esther Martwick; and his brothers, Herbert and Melvin.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Stroh (Duane), Sandy Tweten (Tab), Duane Gahner Jamestown and Steven Gahner (Rebecca); his siblings, Alma Delzer, Irene Oster, Lenora Hill and Jake Gahner (Marilyn); and his grandchildren, Chasity Rude (Mike), Alesha Zimmey (Dusty), Brook Roland, Eric Gahner, Waylen Stroh, Leo Jr., Shawn, Crystal Stoppleworth, Austin and Ashley Gahner. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
