He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Masseth and Philipina Masseth (Feist); his wife Magdalena; his son Kenneth; his grandson Kelly; and his siblings, George, James, Adam, Pete, Joe Masseth, Mary Kraft, Regina Reuer and Elizabeth Masseth.
He is survived by: his children, Myron (Joyce) and Sharon Masseth of Bismarck; his daughter-in-law Linda Masseth of Bismarck; and his sisters, Gean Gross (Val), Bismarck Vetter and Rosie Vetter. He is also survived by four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
