He was predeceased by: his mother Christine Wanner (Bonnet); his son Ronald Wanner; his stepson Dan Herman; his stepgrandson Tyler Herman; and his siblings, John, Herbert Wanner, Ruth Vogel, Marion Geigle and Lillian Bentz.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Hohimer; his son Blair Wanner; his stepson Jeff Herman (Kelli); his stepgrandchildren, Kyle Herman (Kristen), Cora Schlinger, Jesse Herman (Jen) and Steve Herman (Dawn); and his sister Helen Grosz of McClusky, ND. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
