She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Grensteiner and Elizabeth Grensteiner; her husband Leonard Leier; her son Dalles; her great grandchild Peter Leo Leier; and her siblings, Alyce, Andy, George and Henry.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Matter (Russ) of Tappen, Moorhead of Tappen, Minn of Tappen, Colleen Weippert (Milton) of Tappen, Karen Dockter (Dale) of Tappen, Pat Leier (Val) of Tappen, LaVonne Mittleider (Dan) of Tappen and Sarah Selvig (Randy); her daughter-in-law Beth Leier; her sister JoAnne Glatt; and her sister-in-law Laurie Grensteiner. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
