We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Vera Hetland of Bismarck, North Dakota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Goodrich and Sarah Goodrich (Johnston); her husband Leonard; her sons, Robert and Steven; her son-in-law Duane Peterson; and her siblings, Lawrence, Lorraine, Evangeline, Frank and Loretta.

She is survived by: her children, Gene Hetland (Carol) of Mililani, HI, Elizabeth "Betty" Peterson (Duane) of Columbia Falls, MT and Mary Van Eeckhout (Gene) of Jamestown, ND; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth; and her grandchildren, Christie Searle of Mililani, HI, Michelle Bradley (Norm) of Makakilo, HI, Bradley Hetland of Hudson, WI, Bethany Sjoblad (Jon) of Brooklyn Park, MN, Brett Hetland (Teresa) of Spirit Lake, IA, Hallie Arvidson (Jody) of Columbia Falls, MT and Brad Peterson (Crista). She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial/Graveside Service: Due to pandemic precautions, a loving tribute will be held at a future date.
