He was predeceased by: his parents, Milka and Vinko. He is survived by: his wife Ajka Mirkovic; his children, Anita Mirkovic, Edita Mirkovic and Edvina Mirkovic; his grandson Nikola; his sons-in-law, Boris and Jonathan; his sisters, Indira, Zlatan, Hedda and Adnan; and his nephews, Roman, Arijan and Edwin. He is also survived by his four brothers, a sister.
