He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Owen and Elizabeth Owen (Hedland); and his sisters, Harriet Hertsgaard (Phillip) and Donna Owen. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Mason (Peggy), Kelley, Anne and Jill; his grandson Chase (Katie); and his sibling's children, John (Louise), David and Mary Hertsgaard.
Memorials may be sent to Alzheimer's Research, the ND Veteran's Cemetery, or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
