He is survived by: his spouses, Viola Hummel and Delores of Bismarck; his sons, David Hensel, Darrell Hensel and Dennis Hensel; his stepchild Debbie Sabin (Larry); and his brother Clifford Hensel. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
