He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Katherine (Gerhardt); his wife Scholastica Wetzstein; his granddaughter Jessica; and his brothers, Art and Steve.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Joyce Fleck (Les) of Solen, ND, Marvin, Valene Nelson (Gary), Lisa Schmidt (Doug) and Lenora Schmidt (Dale); his grandchildren, Les, Aaron, Leslie Ann, Nadine of Valene, Gary, Chance, Josie of Lisa, Doug, Serena, Shannon, Sheyenne of Curt, Laurie, Jacob of Lenora, Dale, Karmen, Jorie and Shelby; his close friend Judy Rivinius; and his sister Irene Friesz. He is also survived by his children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren.
All are asked to wear a mask and follow all social distancing guidelines.
