He was predeceased by : his father LeRoy "Bud" Knutson. He is survived by : his mother Mary Knutson (Eurich) of Dunseith; his sister Sally Metcalfe (Archie) of Dunseith; his nephews, Logan Metcalfe (Brittany) of Bottineau and Trenton Metcalfe (Kendra) of Bottineau; his niece Jordan Oein (Stewart) of Bottineau; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zoey Metcalfe, Gunnar Metcalfe, Baylor Metcalfe, Kahlan Oein, Liam Oein and Finely Oein.
