He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathias Skarphol and Sigri Skarphol (Dahlen); his wife Sylvia L Nermyr; his siblings, George, Haakon, Jacob, Bennie, Sigurd, Melvin, Minnie Larson, Gina, Selma and Gena M.; and his daughter-in-law Judeen Skarphol.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Schiff (Douglas) of Surprise, AZ, Ronald (Pamela) of Osage, MN, Dennis (Maddi) of Souris, ND, Donald (Claire) of Chaska, MN and Randy (Brenda). He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Grace Lutheran Legacy Fund.
