It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris M. Nelson of Bottineau, North Dakota, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris M. Nelson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Hanson and Lillie Hanson (Grover); her husband Kenneth A. Nelson; her sons, Bobby and Tim; her siblings, Carol Nelson, Eunice Mayer and Arlen; and her brothers-in-law, Clinton Nelson and Jim Velebir.

She is survived by : her sons, James (Marie), Kevin of Bismarck and Keith (Linda) of West Fargo; her grandchildren, Cody (Tyann) of Spencer, IA, Cassey Stockton (Alex) of Bowling Green, KY, Lane (Ashley Tritthardt) of Iowa City, IA and Haakon of Fargo, ND; and her sisters, Olive Cote (Emede) of Holmen, WI, Frances Opstedal of Rolette, ND and Arlys Velebir of Laguna Niguel, CA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
